Playa Mulege is located on the Gulf of California (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 119th place out of 133 beaches in the Baja California Sur region 347.7 km away from its center, the city of La Paz. It is one of the beaches of Mulege settlement, just 3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and gray pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

"The beach town is small and peaceful, with a laid-back atmosphere. Many establishments close early, but we enjoyed breakfast at La Huerta by the river and lunch at Los Equipales.
