Playa Sabaneta is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 49th place out of 224 beaches in the Puerto Rico region 114.6 km away from its center, the city of San Juan. It is one of the beaches of Mayaguez settlement, just 5.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa Sabaneta is located in Puerto Rico within Mayaguez, which makes it not only easily accessible, but even popular among tourists. However, during the high season it is quite uncrowded, which allows you to spend a comfortable time on the coast.
