Playa Canina is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 68th place out of 141 beaches in the Murcia region 50.1 km away from its center, the city of Murcia. It is one of the beaches of Mazarron settlement, just 4.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa Canina coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. "This place looks great, but it's not exactly the cleanest. It's like someone took a dump at the entrance and never bothered to clean it up. It's a shame that it's not kept up better, but if people put in a little more effort, it could be an amazing beach."
