Playa de Cadavedo is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 78th place out of 101 beaches in the Asturias region 47.6 km away from its center, the city of Oviedo. It is one of the beaches of Ribon settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth.
