"After taking the cliff railway down to the beach, we were disappointed to find that all the shops were closed except for the toilets. We didn't realize that they closed at the end of October. Despite this, the beach with its black sand and pebbles was beautiful and our dogs had a great time. We eventually decided to take a walk to the neighboring Babbacombe Beach."
