Barrinha Beach

This beach boasts a unique and diverse landscape that is perfect for capturing breathtaking photos. However, during low tide in January, the abundance of algae may discourage swimming. Despite this, visitors can still enjoy the simple pleasures of lounging on the beach and dining at the various small restaurants, including the popular Komaki restaurant and bar. In the late afternoon, many people gather to witness the stunning sunset over the nearby dunes, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts. Although prices at Komaki may be a bit steep, it is the only reasonable option in the area and offers a raised deck and loungers by the sea, making it worth the expense for those seeking a luxurious beach experience.

This place is absolutely amazing! The sea is stunning and peaceful. The village is quaint and welcoming, providing a lot of tranquility for relaxation. I decided to rent an ATV to explore the beach, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. I stayed at the Lacula guesthouse and had the most delightful meals at the collinas restaurant and Dona Jo's restaurant. Additionally, I took a boat trip to the island of oysters and mangroves, which was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

What an amazing experience! The beach boasts a remarkable tide variation, unlike any other beach in Ceará. We arrived at 2:15 pm, just as the tide started to rise, but it was still far from the shore. We left at 4:15 pm, and the tide had already reached the rocks, as captured in our stunning photos. I highly recommend visiting during low tide and staying until it rises. The tranquil sea is perfect for swimming, especially for families with young children. To plan your visit, simply search for "Table of tides Acaraú Ceará" on Google and check the times. Don't miss out on this unforgettable beach experience!
