Picena beach
10 Nevin Niles

This beach is one of the smallest but most beautiful on the island. It features a fantastic bar and restaurant, although it does not open until 3-4 pm on weekdays. You can rent kayaks from the bar and paddle to a small island with private stony beaches. While the beach is public, it is mainly used by guests of nearby apartments and is not usually crowded. There is some shade available in the morning hours.

Vela Prizba beach

This pebble beach is truly exceptional, boasting crystal clear waters that are immaculately clean. Conveniently located just a few meters behind the beach, parking is a breeze. The approach to the beach and the sea is gentle and effortless, making it an ideal destination for families with young children, couples, groups, and water sports enthusiasts alike. For those in need of refreshment, a delightful bar serving sandwiches, beer, and juice is conveniently located around the corner.

Nova beach
10 Lillia Renard

This stunning beach boasts ample shade, though it's recommended to bring along a comfortable pad or blanket to lounge upon. The crystal-clear waters are pristine, though it may not be the ideal destination for those seeking an Instagram-worthy backdrop. Fortunately, parking is plentiful and easily accessible.

Prigradica beach

The beach is stunning, but unfortunately, I can only give it one star due to the pollution in the sea. Every day from 10:00 to 14:00, sewage from a cesspool is discharged directly into the water, which is unacceptable in a country that prides itself on being a top tourist destination. It's a shame that such a beautiful place is being tarnished by this issue.

Istruga beach
6 Nathaniel Van Dermeer

This stunning and expansive beach boasts a charming little cave nearby, which can only be reached by taking a refreshing swim. The beach also offers a beach volleyball net, ample room for a BBQ, and plenty of shady spots to relax in. Right next to the beach is an open tennis court, making it a great destination for sports enthusiasts. However, it is important to note that the beach is in need of a thorough cleaning, particularly under the trees, as it can be unsafe for lounging or walking. It is conveniently located just a short 10-minute walk from Pinčena beach.
