Resting by the sea for each traveler is associated with different activities. Someone loves complete relaxation and silence, while others need activity. Our configurator will always help you choose a beach that meets your personal needs.

If a beach holiday for you is primarily the sound of the surf, the cries of seagulls over the pier and leisurely walks along the coast, then you are definitely a fan of calm beaches. The most popular beaches for such a holiday in the vicinity of Dubrovnik are Sunj beach, Tri brata beach, Sun Gardens beach.

The list of available beach activities is certainly important, but for many travelers it is not a determining factor when choosing a vacation spot. Below you will find some information about the natural features of the beaches of Dubrovnik, we hope that this information will help you find the place of your dreams.

The beaches of town are mainly narrow. According to reviews of major beach experts and vacationers, most beaches have a high level of cleanliness. Pebbly beaches dominate the rest!

As pebble rocky beaches are common here, it's recommended to bring aqua shoes if you're sensitive to it. This way, your vacation will be as comfortable as possible.

Usually, the depth increases normally. If this is important to you, always use our filter to check for a particular beach.

10 out of 46 beaches in Dubrovnik are partially protected from waves. These protections can be natural or man-made structures. If you're visiting the area during unstable weather, we recommend carefully choosing a place to swim, as high waves may not always be safe. Our filter can help you find a suitable beach.

A not-so-pleasant feature of the beaches in Dubrovnik is the high density of boats, yachts, or other watercraft on some of them. There are about 36 such beaches, but this may vary depending on the season. If this is a concern for you, we recommend carefully checking the beaches of interest for this issue using our Boat filter.

Banje beach

Terrible! Rude waiters, no one who can give you information on the services offered and an aseptic and unwelcoming location, worn out and old sunbeds. Not to mention the non-existent cleaning between the beach and the bathrooms, the lesser problem that there was no paper. Dubrovnik at the same prices offers much better.

Sunj beach

This beach is definitely worth the short golf cart ride for just a couple of kuna. Although, it's a shame that you have to pay for sunbeds. However, the crystal clear water is perfect for a refreshing swim. Despite the fair amount of visitors, it never felt too crowded. The distance from the main town certainly contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend adding this beach to your itinerary when visiting the island.

We spent a week at this beach. Our apartment was pleasant and offered fantastic views, although we didn't spend much time inside. The reception offered an affordable option to arrange a return trip into the city of Dubrovnik, which was organized by the complex itself and utilized private cars and drivers. One day, we took a stroll around the bay and had a wonderful time. There were opportunities to rent boats and kayaks for personal use. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable visit, with friendly locals and beachfront restaurants.

This breathtaking beach is a natural wonder that will leave you in awe. It's a public beach with a rocky terrain, but don't worry - there are plenty of sunbeds available for hire. If you're looking for a bit more space, be sure to grab a sunbed. The prices are incredibly affordable, so you won't have to break the bank. There's an endless array of activities to keep you entertained, and the food and drink options are plentiful. The water is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom, making for an unforgettable early morning swim. And the sunsets here are absolutely stunning - a sight you won't want to miss.

This secluded paradise is simply enchanting. The crystal-clear waters are breathtakingly beautiful and the tranquility is unbeatable. It's best to arrive early to secure a spot and avoid the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The cozy café is the perfect spot to indulge in refreshing drinks and delectable ice creams. However, keep in mind that they don't serve food. Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our vacation.
