This seaside spot is one of the few sandy beaches around, but don't expect it to be a hidden gem – it's a well-known local haunt. The snorkeling is a treat, with plenty of fish to ogle, but the beach itself is a bit of a mess. Cigarette butts and other bits of garbage are strewn about, and the water is coated in an unsightly layer of sunscreen and oil. The crowds are also a bit much, as campers and day-trippers alike flock to this spot. All in all, it's an okay place to take a dip if you're in a hurry to catch the ferry to Mljet, but don't expect a pristine paradise.

This beach is fantastic! It's really clean and perfect for both families and those who enjoy stand up paddle boarding. Plus, there's a convenient little shop right on the beach that sells all the essentials like cold drinks, ice cream, and coffee. There are also several restaurants nearby and plenty of parking available. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit!

I absolutely adored the beach! The sandy shore was simply delightful and the convenience of free parking spots and a short walk made it all the more enjoyable. Although it was a tad crowded in mid August, it still remains my number one choice among all the beaches in Dubrovnik.

Plaza Limuni

The sandy beach boasts a picturesque view, perfect for capturing stunning photographs. However, it's not recommended for swimming due to the presence of algae that makes the sea appear murky. If you're only looking for a spot for your little ones to frolic on the sand, then it's decent enough. The route to the beach is a combination of half tarmac and half gravel, with narrow paths that can only accommodate one vehicle at a time. Fortunately, traffic is scarce. There are no other facilities on the beach, making it a raw and natural experience.
