This beach is truly a hidden gem. The golden sand adds to the charm of this beautiful spot. It's an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommend a visit to this great little place.

Nestled on the North West coast of the Dominican Republic, Playa Juan de Balanos is situated in the Western side of the country, just a short drive from Monte Cristi. Despite not being the most visually stunning beach, it more than compensates with its prime location and accessibility. Positioned on a well-traveled road and only a few minutes away from the largest city in the region, it is a favored destination for many. Regrettably, there are no public washroom facilities present. Don't hesitate to drop by, even if you're not staying close by.

Oh my, this beach is simply stunning! It's located right next to the charming Manzanillo bay, and the mangroves on either side just add to the natural beauty of the area. I must say, the organizers have done a fantastic job of keeping the area spick and span. It's refreshing to see that they care about the environment and are making an effort to keep the beach clean. Plus, the signposting makes it easy to navigate the space. All in all, I highly recommend paying this beach a visit. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Wow, what a journey it was to get to this beach! But was it worth it? Absolutely! The sitting areas are so fresh and new, you'd think they were just created yesterday. And don't even get me started on the bathrooms - they're practically fit for royalty. The ramp and stairs are a nice touch too, but let's talk about the real star of the show: the views. They're absolutely stunning! It's like Mother Nature herself decided to put on a show just for us. Overall, I'd say this beach is definitely worth the trek. Just make sure to bring your camera, because you're going to want to capture every moment of this natural wonderland.
