If you're not bothered by the darker sand, you will absolutely adore this beach. The seafood served here is as fresh as can be, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, be sure to keep an eye on the weather, as particularly windy days can make the waves a bit rough to swim in.

The water isn't ideal for swimming, but it's a fantastic spot to relax with a drink, enjoy some music, and sit in a chair. It may be a bit crowded, but the road to get there isn't too difficult.

The waves are really nice, so make sure to wear beach shoes due to the rocky terrain.

This place is a hidden gem with its stunning beauty. Although the gray sand may not be the typical white sand that most beaches have, it adds a unique touch to the scenery. During our last visit, the sargassum was present, but it did not take away from the beach's beauty. Overall, this beach is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a serene and picturesque getaway.

Palenque beach

The location is pleasant, although the waves may be a bit forceful for some. The sand is dark in color, which may cause some discomfort as it tends to cling onto your skin. Nevertheless, the overall encounter is quite enjoyable. The cuisine served and the melodies played add to the ambiance, and the beach is not excessively populated.

Well, let me tell you about this beach. It's a real beauty, but it's like that one kid in high school that was gorgeous but never got any attention. There's this abandoned villa that used to be the talk of the town, but now it's just a sad reminder of what could have been. It's a real shame that such a gem is left untouched and unappreciated, especially being so close to the capital. We took it upon ourselves to try and spruce it up a bit, planting some beach grapes and button mangroves to try and breathe some life back into it. Here's hoping our efforts don't go to waste.
