Sabana Chiquita - all beaches

The water isn't ideal for swimming, but it's a fantastic spot to relax with a drink, enjoy some music, and sit in a chair. It may be a bit crowded, but the road to get there isn't too difficult.

The waves are really nice, so make sure to wear beach shoes due to the rocky terrain.

This particular beach in the southern region is quite unpleasant to visit as it is overgrown with thick bushes and muddied terrain. The pathway leading to the beach is also highly inconvenient and difficult to navigate. Overall, this is not a beach destination that I would recommend.

The freshwater lagoon is definitely the highlight of this beach.

This beach is undoubtedly petite and charming with its dark sand and picturesque scenery. Yet, it's a shame that it is so disgustingly filthy and the waves are too intense for any decent swimming. The only redeeming quality is the stunning sunset, but even that can't make up for the fact that it's a desolate wasteland with no amenities whatsoever. The only thing to appreciate is the fact that most of the journey is on a paved road, which is hardly a selling point. The only thing worth doing here is taking a few photos, but even then, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything worth capturing.
