Kerleven beach

This local beach is really nice and there aren't many rocks in the water, making it perfect for swimming with children.

We stumbled upon this beach by chance and it turned out to be a stroke of luck. However, be mindful of the parking hours as the car park closes at 7:30 p.m. and reopens at 8 a.m. the next day. It's only suitable for small vehicles, so avoid bringing a fitted van or camper as maneuvering will be impossible. Once you're on the beach, the water is crystal clear and perfect for diving. It's definitely worth a visit!

This beach is truly stunning. It's definitely not for those who are looking for a commercialized holiday experience with endless shops selling plastic beach toys, neon lights, and huge ice cream parlors. However, it's incredibly clean and has a few really great restaurants and local shops. The morning walk to the bakery is especially enjoyable and hasn't been ruined by the effects of mass tourism.
