Hondarribia Beach

The beach was alright, but nothing special. Parking was a hassle, and it was not free either. It was not particularly clean either. The atmosphere was quite dull.

Plage d'Uhabia

This beach boasts a stunning view of the sea, making it a must-visit destination.

Plage de Senix

This is my go-to spot on the Basque coast. The beach is absolutely stunning with its rocky outcroppings and warm, calm waters that are home to a variety of sea creatures like crabs, fish, and shrimp. Plus, there are even some shaded areas to relax in (although they're not available between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.). Of course, there are a few downsides, like the tricky parking situation during peak season and the fact that the sand isn't super fine and there are sometimes pebbles in the water. But overall, it's a true paradise - a wild escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Plus, there are plenty of snack options nearby, whether it's high season or not (I highly recommend bibam).

The beach is stunningly wild, but reaching it is quite challenging.
