Plage du metro

This beach is exceptionally clean and stunning. It offers all the necessary amenities, nothing more, nothing less. You'll find lifeguards, a restaurant, a kiosk, restrooms, and parking.

Plage du Parc
10 Lirien Kael

This is a stunning spot with a limited number of visitors, perfect for a leisurely stroll, and great for taking a dip in both the ocean and the cozy bars.

Plage de Senix
10 Niv' ala

This is my go-to spot on the Basque coast. The beach is absolutely stunning with its rocky outcroppings and warm, calm waters that are home to a variety of sea creatures like crabs, fish, and shrimp. Plus, there are even some shaded areas to relax in (although they're not available between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.). Of course, there are a few downsides, like the tricky parking situation during peak season and the fact that the sand isn't super fine and there are sometimes pebbles in the water. But overall, it's a true paradise - a wild escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Plus, there are plenty of snack options nearby, whether it's high season or not (I highly recommend bibam).

This particular beach on the lake is known for having the least amount of current, resulting in slightly muddy water. It also has some rocks, plenty of small crabs and shrimps, and offers a good amount of shade. It is an ideal spot for families with young children to enjoy swimming.
