Latest reviews on Normandy's beaches

Plage de l'Anse du Brick

While it is undeniably attractive, this beach doesn't quite match up to some of the others in the Cotentin region. It lacks a certain degree of untamed beauty and doesn't really stand out from the crowd. You can park your car by the coast road and enjoy a view of the small bay from there.

Deauville Beach
8 Ruby in Place

This beach is really great - it's quite spacious and there are lots of eateries in the vicinity. Additionally, you can easily bring your own snacks and enjoy them while lounging on the sand.

Dieppe Beach

This is a great spot that's suitable for all! Just remember to stay safe and enjoy yourself. After all, life is too short!

Fecamp Beach

Very beautiful

Plage de Donville-les-Bains
8 Lirio

While the beach has pebbles and rocks on both sides, it still retains a pleasant and uncrowded atmosphere, allowing for a direct life on Chausey. Although it may not be the ideal spot for diving, the view is still breathtaking.

Plage de Veulettes-sur-Mer

I had a great time at this beach. It had a mix of pebbles and sand, and was well-maintained. There were designated areas for swimming and small boats, which were supervised. The seaside was beautiful, with cliffs on either side and a lush green hinterland. Additionally, there were shops, restaurants, and a nicely landscaped seafront. The beach was accessible to everyone and had ample parking and a picnic area. There was even a nautical base for water activities. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this place.

Please note that lifeguards supervise 14 beaches in the region, but you should rely on more than just them, remember the elementary rules, as lifeguards are not on duty around the clock, even on equipped beaches!

Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.

The hottest month of the region is August - air temperature during this time warms up to 19.8°C and water up to 19.4°C. The coldest month is January - air temperature drops to 8.1°C and water to 8.9°C.
