The beach has a nice, dark sandy area, but be cautious of rocks both on the beach and in the water. It's important to wear proper sandals. The beach area is vast but limited, with only a few sandy patches.

La notice est erronée : plage "de la commune de Angouleme" MDR ; c'est la commune de Frontignan ; Angoulème n'est même pas un hameau, c'est une cabane (inaccessible de plus car en zone protégée) au bord de l'Etang. Donner la distance à Angoulème n'a donc aucun sens.
