We arrived at the beach with high expectations, but unfortunately, we were let down. My wife ordered lamb, but it arrived undercooked. We requested a replacement, which was provided, but it greatly affected our overall dining experience. Additionally, the dessert we ordered was of very low quality, indicating that it was likely purchased at a cheap price. They charged a hefty 12.00€ per portion for it. Overall, we do not recommend this place and have no intention of returning. On a positive note, the location is beautiful as it is situated right by the waterfront. Furthermore, parking comes at a cost of 8€.

We visited the beach on a scorching Monday to beat the heat. Upon arrival around noon, we managed to find a convenient parking spot on the road near Plage de Sports (between kiosks 18 & 19). The beach was immaculate, and we had no trouble finding a spot to relax. While there was some vegetation that had washed up from elsewhere, it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the crystal-clear water. The beach also offers a complimentary shower and a café, both of which we highly recommend.

La Gaillarde beach

This pristine beach with a tranquil atmosphere and offers secure bathing zones. While it may get a bit congested during the busiest months, early September provides a more relaxed experience. Additionally, a nearby convenience store provides easy access to both delectable ice cream treats and essential groceries.
