Terrible, don't bother if you aren't Italian. Rude staff and really disgusting beach

They forgot to say that access to the beach is by elevator, very picturesque but in high season it can be a complication.

We made a lunch reservation in advance due to the busy nature of the beach. We were picked up by a complimentary boat at Amalfi Harbour and taken on a 10-minute journey to Spiaggia Santa Croce, a small cove with two restaurants. We decided to spend the whole day there, so we rented two loungers and an umbrella, which was a bit pricey at 50 euros but worth it for the day. Our loungers were in a great spot on the pontoon right by the sea, although the beach itself was quite pebbly. For lunch, we had a fantastic table on the veranda overlooking the cove, and the staff were quick and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary amuse bouche. The tuna tartar starter was simple in appearance but had excellent flavor with capers and lemon seasoning. The lobster linguini was a generous portion with a large, meaty claw. I opted for the homemade pasta with clams, mussels, and squid, one of my favorite dishes. We enjoyed a bottle of rose wine from Tremonti with our meal. After some time relaxing on the loungers and a refreshing swim, we were picked up at 5pm and taken back to Amalfi. Overall, we had a fantastic day at the beach and want to thank the staff for their hospitality.

This beach offers a more budget-friendly option compared to its neighboring shore. While it's possible to reserve sunbeds in advance, you can also simply arrive and inquire on-site. As the rocky areas were already occupied, we were directed to the pier where the staff were incredibly helpful in guiding us to our designated beds and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Amenities such as a restaurant, bar, indoor restrooms, showers, and changing rooms were conveniently available. There were also multiple entry points to access the inviting sea. For a reasonable price of 48€, we were able to secure two sunbeds and an umbrella, while drinks were priced at around 8-12€.

What a gem of a location! It takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes to walk from the road or a quick 5-minute shuttle ride (I recommend walking down and shuttling up!). The menu is refreshingly uncomplicated, offering a delightful selection of chilled wines, including a unique apricot flavor that resembles Retsina. I indulged in fresh squid and crisp salads, which were reasonably priced and not overly expensive. The beach is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind and soak up the sun.

This beach is more than just a place to soak up the sun, it's a full-fledged beach club experience. While the beach itself is primarily made up of pebbles, the surrounding amenities make up for it. It's no wonder why so many visitors opt to take water taxis to and from Nerano - the convenience and luxury of this beach club are unmatched.
