This beach near Palermo is fantastic with its long stretch of sandy shoreline. It's surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants. The water is crystal clear and perfect for children to swim in. The beach has both a public and private section, with the latter providing sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee ranging from 20 to 30 euros per day. I highly recommend it! 👍

This beach is easily accessible from Palermo by train and is quite pleasant. The water is clear, although it is even clearer in Cefalu. Most of the water is shallow, but there are also some deeper areas where the water can reach up to your head. Additionally, there are rocky spots with plenty of small fish as well as sandy areas. When we visited on a Friday in August, it was not crowded at all. The beach offers a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. It's important to note that the beach stretches for a long distance. The closer you are to Capaci train station, the less crowded and cleaner it is. On the other hand, the closer you are to Isola delle Femmine, the busier and more littered it becomes. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for those without a car in Sicily.
