This year we visited the beach. Last year it was too crowded to find parking.

The beach is within walking distance from the nearby parking areas, and the water is crystal clear, which, in my opinion, sets it apart from other beaches on the island. The area seems to be somewhat crowded, so I suggest bringing shoes to easily navigate the rocky water entry. Overall, I still believe it's a destination worth visiting, although not one of the top-notch beaches.

Amazing small beach"

Spiaggia del Viticcio

We visited in mid-June and arrived around 10am. It was uncrowded and peaceful. Most of the area was shaded. The beach was made up of pebbles and seaweed, and the sea was crystal clear. To get there, you have to take a somewhat steep stairway, which can be accessed by taking a right at the first crossroads. The parking lot is a bit further away than the beach, or you can park directly on the road (though this is less safe).

The hidden gem of Elba's beaches is undoubtedly this charming, family-run paradise. I have visited this idyllic spot numerous times and have yet to be disappointed. The warmth and hospitality of the owners are truly remarkable and create an unforgettable stay. This beach is not overrun with tourists, making it a peaceful and serene escape. The prices are reasonable, and the pier is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. The family's presence adds an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the entire experience. I am certain that I will return to this magical place time and time again.

During my visit on August 30th, 2022, the beach was pleasantly uncrowded and I did not encounter any sections that were claimed by private individuals, contrary to what other reviews had mentioned. The beach was entirely open and had a sparse number of visitors. The water was stunning, although not quite on par with other nearby beaches, particularly Crocetta beach.
