The beach is rocky, has a dark appearance, and is not particularly noteworthy. It is also located quite a distance away from the main road. While it may be acceptable for those staying at nearby hotels, I would not recommend it for those just passing through. Within a 30-minute drive, there are likely much better options for swimming.

This is a great beach to escape the crowds and appreciate the stunning, crystal-clear water. However, be prepared for a bit of a trek down to the beach.

Visiting this beach may not be the best use of your time. The island of Elba boasts numerous stunning beaches, but this particular one tends to be crowded during the summer months, with mostly Italian vacationers. Additionally, dogs are allowed on the beach, which may not be ideal for everyone. The water may appear clear, but it's only when you swim further out that you realize it's not as crystal clear as you thought. The sea floor is also rocky and slippery, which can be unpleasant for some. The bar on the beach is a bit pricey, and locals rent out sun beds. The beach could also benefit from more thorough cleaning. However, the rocky cliffs add a touch of drama to the scenery. If you're up for a hike, there are trails leading from the beach to the hilltop, offering stunning views of the beach and its surroundings.
