Guayabitos beach

We stopped by to see how this beach compares to San Pancho, and it's clear that they're quite different. The beach was bustling with vendors, but didn't have the same trendy expat atmosphere as San Pancho. If you're looking for a more authentic cultural experience, Guayabitos is the spot. However, if you want to embrace your inner yogi and sip on some smoothies, San Pancho is the place for you. By the way, we had some amazing fish and shrimp on a stick, but we had to request it to be cooked fresh instead of buying pre-cooked shrimp of unknown age.

This beach is truly delightful, with its pristine cleanliness and serene ambiance. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge in solitude. However, it's important to exercise caution as the local wildlife, including crocodiles, can be dangerous. Despite this, the beach remains a stunning destination for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating escape.

This beach is an absolute gem for indulging in a refreshing dip and relishing delectable cuisine. The water is pleasantly warm and the sand may sneak its way into your swimsuit, but it adds to the overall charm of the place.

We really enjoy this beach, but we do have a suggestion to be more conscious of our use of single-use plastics. We recommend bringing your own bamboo silverware and water bottle to refill instead of contributing to the global plastic problem. We also bring a stainless steel straw to avoid using plastic ones. It's important to remember that plastic waste, such as six-pack rings and straws, can harm sea life. Additionally, we should be mindful of cigarette use on the beach and around others. It's best to dispose of cigarette butts in a garbage can rather than burying them in the sand, as they are also made of non-biodegradable plastic particles. This beach does not allow powered vehicles, only small fishing boats, paddle boards, and surfboards. We recommend these practices for all beaches.

The shoreline was immaculately pristine, with an abundance of merchants offering their wares. If you venture fifteen minutes beyond the shoreline's edge, you'll discover a secluded cove that is equally as charming. The trek is undoubtedly worth it, as it is less crowded and free of any vendors.

El Borrego beach

This beach is truly amazing, with incredible waves that crash onto the shore almost every day. Not only that, but the nearby restaurants are absolutely delicious - my personal favorite is Federico y Lucia, although all of the options are fantastic. For those looking to learn how to surf or rent a board, Stoners Surf Camp is an excellent choice.
