Utrecht - all beaches

The particular location on Google is currently closed, but there is a spacious beach less than 500 meters away. This beach includes the Japanese restaurant that was mentioned in previous comments, as well as opportunities for water sports. The photos I uploaded are taken from that specific area, just a short distance to the left on the map.

Visiting the Netherlands means you get to enjoy their beautiful beaches, which are plentiful in this region. Despite the unpredictable spring weather, it's definitely worth checking out.

The beach was rather pleasant, and I visited it based on a recommendation from a travel guide. It's a great spot for taking photographs, particularly of the charming old church situated near the shore. However, I wouldn't suggest spending an excessive amount of time there.

We had our first beach trip in the Netherlands and we absolutely loved it. The beach was beautiful and very clean. However, it was quite windy during our visit, so if you plan on going in the winter, make sure to dress appropriately, especially if you have small children with you. Luckily, there are nearby stores such as Dirk and Alberheign where you can pick up supplies or order food from the beach cabins. It's also a good idea to bring some toys or a football for the kids to play with. We brought a picnic blanket with us and enjoyed sitting on it while the sun was still out. Overall, it was a great day out and we definitely plan on returning during the summer.

The beach is stunningly wide and stretches all the way to Schreveningen, but it's important to note that the ebb tide can be dangerously strong in some areas. In fact, it's stronger than what most people can handle swimming in. As you move towards the town, there are warning flags to alert beachgoers of the danger, but on the nudist section of the beach, there aren't any.

This serene and expansive beach offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, all at a reasonable cost. The laid-back ambiance only adds to the overall appeal. However, the parking lot is disappointingly small, leading to traffic congestion that can begin even before reaching the edge of town. Opting to cycle to the beach is the best option, as the paths are generously wide and dotted with refreshing water fountains.
