El Jobo beach

The water at the beach is quite calm, although it tends to be colder than other beaches in Costa Rica because of the trade winds. However, the beach itself is very clean. The snorkeling experience is average. You can easily drive directly to the beach. There are plenty of jet skiers and ATVs in the vicinity. It's advisable to bring your own packed lunch, snacks, and drinks as there are no nearby options. What I loved about this place is that it isn't crowded with tourists or people trying to sell you things. You can truly relax and enjoy a swim.

The water is quite chilly, so if you plan on taking a dip during sunset, it's advisable to bring a rashguard to keep yourself warm. It's important to be cautious between January and April as jellyfish and manta rays can be present.

What a cliché! Everyone knows that beaches are supposed to be beautiful. And sure, this one might be pretty, but what's the big deal? It's not like it's the only beach in the world. And as for amazing, well, that's just hyperbole. It's a beach. Sand, water, maybe some rocks or shells. It's not exactly a life-changing experience. So yeah, I guess it's nice, but let's not get carried away.
