Coron island - all beaches

The 'Ultimate' island hopping tour took us to Atwayan beach, a pristine and well-maintained stretch of sand that boasted an abundance of traditional shelters for us to relish our meals in. A petite shop on the beachfront offered an array of snacks, cold drinks, and chilled beers to quench our thirst. This island beach is a must-visit destination, and all tourists arrived here on organized tours. Our boatmen prepared a delectable feast, including freshly caught small tuna, cooked to perfection on the boat and served piping hot on the beach. The meal also included succulent chicken and pork dishes, steaming vegetables, and a refreshing cucumber and local seaweed salad that tantalized our taste buds with its tangy vinegar dressing.

This is my go-to beach in Coron! It's not typically included in tours, but if you're on a private tour, it's a common spot for lunch. The white sand and privacy make the entrance fee worth it. I once rented a kayak and paddled to the neighboring beach, which is easily accessible from here. Whether you prefer swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing in a nipa hut, this beach has something for everyone.
