Darocotan Island Beach
10 Brielle Lovett

This place is like paradise. The staff is incredibly friendly and the island is unlike anything I've ever seen before. It truly lives up to the name of paradise. I really enjoy the tents and huts, and the yoga classes are incredibly relaxing. It's a place where you can truly unwind. I definitely want to come back again!

Nacapan Beach
10 Max Rivers

This beach was the highlight of our trip. We booked a van through Nacpan Shuttle from Lio for 800 round trip per person, or 700 for a day trip. The travel time was approximately 30 minutes. Once we turned right somewhere along the main road, the road became muddy. However, the trip was definitely worth it because we were greeted by soft white sand and clear, clean waters that were completely free of garbage. There were plenty of dogs roaming around, but they were harmless as long as you didn't touch them. I just hope that Nacpan doesn't undergo too much development, as it's starting to resemble Boracay a bit too much.

Lio Beach
10 Zaralynne Cruzado

The Lio beach boasts a contemporary ambiance with a plethora of restaurants dotted along the shoreline. The beach is impeccably clean, visually pleasing, and well-maintained. During our visit, we did encounter a swarm of tiny flying insects in the water and on the sand, which required constant shooing away. Nonetheless, my companions and I were fortunate enough to witness a stunning sunset during our visit since the rest of our stay in El Nido was plagued by rainy afternoons, which obscured the sunset's splendor.

Duli Beach
10 Rafael Sanchez Navarro

This shoreline boasts a serene atmosphere with minimal crowds, offering only a couple of surfboard rental spots and a quaint resort with a delightful dining experience. The waves are ideal for surfing, and the beach is comprised of soft sand with gentle ripples. Although the journey may be challenging, navigating the path with a scooter is feasible and takes roughly an hour from El Nido town.

Twin Beach
10 Lila Patel

Visiting this place every three months is always a delightful experience. The ideal times to go are in the morning and for evening strolls. There are shaded areas around the rocks to relax in after a refreshing swim during the hot afternoons.

Mariposa Beach
10 A. N. Derson

This beach is also known as Sani or Butterfly beach, and can be accessed by taking the village road to the right instead of turning left towards Duli beach. There are no clear signs on how to reach the beach, which is why it remains completely untouched. There are two possible entrances from the land, both marked with no trespassing signs, but locals have said that these signs were put up to deter land grabbers and that visitors can use the pathways. Once you reach the beach, you'll likely find that you have it all to yourself for quite some time, until it becomes more well-known. It's a perfect spot for enjoying nature in the nude. Don't forget to check out the photos from this beach!
