Playa Sardinera

This beach is hands down my preferred spot on the whole island. It caters to everyone in the family! The tranquil waters make it an ideal spot for kids to frolic around. The sand is spotless and the water is shallow. For those who want to try their hand at surfing, the small waves are perfect. When the water is calm, the snorkeling experience is simply breathtaking. Parking is never an issue as there are many spots available. Even though it is frequently visited, it never seems too busy or overcrowded. The rip tide is present towards the east, so if you are not a strong swimmer, it is best to stay towards the west. However, the rip tide passes over some shallow sandy areas. My children had a blast riding the water slide with their life jackets on. It is important to be cautious during high tide, even on the right side of the beach, as water can come crashing over the rocks. But do not let that deter you from enjoying this wonderful beach!

The beach has an attractive appearance, but the locals warned me about the possibility of a car break-in. It is advisable to park your vehicle in a well-lit area, preferably close to the hustle and bustle of pedestrian traffic, to avoid any untoward incidents.

What a splendid spot to unwind and revel in the picturesque scenery! Not only can you bask in the sun and sand, but you can also embark on a lovely stroll to the bridge via the trail adjacent to the fort. A true gem for those seeking a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This idyllic beach boasts a petite yet picturesque setting, complete with awe-inspiring, colossal waves. While swimming may not be the safest option, a refreshing splash to beat the heat is certainly feasible. Without a doubt, this location is a prime destination to bask in the sun and soak up the tranquil ambiance.
