Playa La Selva

If you're looking for a peaceful and uncrowded beach, then this is the perfect spot for you. However, be prepared for a slightly challenging drive to get there. We managed to navigate the rough road with our mid-size SUV rental, but there were a few nerve-wracking moments. The potholes are quite sizable, and you can't be certain of their depth. Despite this, the experience was definitely worth it. The beach was pristine and almost deserted. Shade is scarce, so remember to bring sunscreen or an umbrella. Additionally, the waves are quite powerful, making it an ideal spot for surfers.

Playa Fortuna

For many years, we have frequented this beach as it is undoubtedly the perfect location to unwind and relax. In fact, it is so remarkable that the turtles have chosen to breed and hatch their eggs here. As a result, there are signs to remind us to be cautious and not disrupt their habitat. Although we cannot park our cars at the very edge, this beach remains the ultimate destination to bask in the sun and appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings.

Playa Palmas del mar

Palma Del Mars boasts a stunning beach that is truly exceptional. The water is pristine and the surroundings are picturesque, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing day at the beach. What sets this beach apart is its tranquil atmosphere, as it is not overcrowded like other popular beaches. The locals are also very welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall charm of the place. In short, Palma Del Mars beach is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a serene and enjoyable beach experience.

Upon first glance, the beach appears to be poorly maintained and littered with debris that has washed up on shore. However, the perk of free parking and the presence of shade structures that, despite their appearance, provide a comfortable lounging spot, make it worth a visit. Once you take a dip in the water, the true beauty of the area reveals itself. The breathtaking views of the mountains, beach, and ocean all in one glance are simply stunning. The water temperature is a delightful 80 degrees or higher, providing a truly enjoyable experience. For ultimate relaxation, I recommend bringing a hammock and some beach chairs. Although the sandy beach area is not extensive, there is plenty of grassy space to relax on. It is important to note that there is only a porta-potty available, so it is advisable to use a restroom before heading to the beach.

This beach is a hidden gem, often blissfully empty. It's perfect for a leisurely stroll, with the soft, yellow sand cushioning your every step. The waves are ideal for surfing, boogie boarding, or simply taking a refreshing dip. For a change of pace, the nearby river flows gently into the ocean, offering a tranquil oasis of freshwater. And don't forget the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that paint the sky in a kaleidoscope of colors. This beach is truly a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
