Make sure to obtain the necessary permits from DRNA before your visit. Despite the 50-mile boat trip, the beach is definitely worth it with its world-class snorkeling and abundant wildlife. The beaches are pristine, and there are plenty of caves to explore. Basic amenities are available for beach camping, including showers, water, a fish cleaning station, composting latrines, and a dish sink. Rangers will be present upon your arrival to check you in, and without the proper permits, you will be asked to leave. Inside the barrier reef, you can find a depth of 5 to 7 feet, and it's important to use the channel alignment markers when approaching from the coast guard buoy by boat. This is an incredible destination, so please be respectful of the area and follow the rules.
