We strolled leisurely from the cruise terminal to the beach, taking advantage of the mostly paved sidewalk. As we approached the shoreline, we noticed that the central area was noticeably serene, with the luxurious Z resort located directly behind it, boasting several upscale dining options. We also spotted a few rustic shacks that offered refreshing drinks and perhaps even some delicious food. On the left end of the beach, there was a bustling bar area where we enjoyed some tasty drinks and snacks. The water was a sight to behold, with its stunningly clear blue hue and lively waves that provided ample opportunities for frolicking and having fun.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I strongly advise against staying here. Our experience was absolutely terrible. Our room was broken into and our engagement ring was stolen. We strongly suspect that the staff members were involved, as there were no other guests at the resort during our stay. What's more, there were no signs of forced entry into our room, and it was locked when we returned. This indicates that the thief had a key to access our room. When we reported the incident, we received no assistance, and the so-called security guard refused to acknowledge us or address the situation. Due to this incident, we decided to cut our stay short and only stayed for one night instead of the planned two. The managers were of no help the next morning when we spoke to them. They claimed there was nothing they could do and showed no remorse for the situation. In fact, they seemed perplexed as to why we were leaving. We had just gotten engaged 72 hours prior to our ring being stolen. It was an absolutely dreadful and terrifying experience. If you are planning a trip to St. Lucia, I strongly urge you not to stay here. Instead, consider staying at Ti Kaye resort.

This charming cove is an ideal spot to drop anchor and spend a couple of nights. The underwater world here is simply breathtaking, with incredible opportunities for snorkeling and even scuba diving on a fascinating shipwreck.

The beach was a great find, hidden away from the crowds. The snorkeling was decent, but you had to swim quite a distance south to find the best spots. There were plenty of large coral heads and fish to see at depths of around 20-30 feet.
