Roots beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 12th place out of 23 beaches in the Saint Lucia region 6.1 km away from its center, the city of Castries. It is one of the beaches of Marigot settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
Roots beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests.
