This location is quite nice, but the locals seem to have an unfriendly attitude towards tourists, which is a shame.

This is a really cool hidden gem. Although it may not have a typical beach setting, it's still worth checking out because it's quite interesting. It's mostly frequented by locals, but it has recently been improved with some intriguing paths. The fact that it's located next to a cemetery adds an eerie and unique touch. Additionally, there's a spacious park nearby that's perfect for enjoying a picnic or taking a leisurely walk with your dog. Not many tourists visit this part of Bermeo, as they usually focus on the harbor, pier, and the numerous bars and restaurants in that area. However, there's a fantastic little bar called Aritzatxu on this tiny beach. If you're up for a biking challenge, you can ride to a famous filming location from Game of Thrones called The Wall. It takes about an hour to bike to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, where The Wall is situated. As you can imagine, it's an absolutely breathtaking sight. Don't worry, there's also a restaurant and bar nearby where you can enjoy a couple of beers, some rotisserie chicken, or some ribs before getting back on your bike. Overall, it's a fantastic way to explore the Basque Country and discover some stunning places.

Laida beach

We concluded our journey along the Biscayne Coast with a stop at this beach. It's a great spot, particularly if you are travelling with young children. At low tide, the beach is expansive with various spots to take a dip. The ocean side is sheltered, with barely any waves, and the water is shallow enough to wade through even after walking a considerable distance. There is plenty of parking available, along with a few eateries. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards, but sadly, not umbrellas or chairs.

The beach was pristine, with its soft and inviting sand. The bay was beautiful, providing a secure environment for children to play.
