Cala D'Or

Yes, the place is beautiful like everywhere in Mallorca, but it's the dirtiest beach I've ever visited. There is a significant amount of plastic in the sea, but it seems like nobody is bothered by it as they casually push it away without noticing. It's concerning because children could accidentally swallow the plastic, and it's alarming that parents don't seem to be concerned about it. The presence of plastic in our bodies can lead to cancer. Additionally, we even came across a dead baby jellyfish. The Spanish government should take responsibility for cleaning this coast due to obvious sanitary and ecological reasons. Perhaps something mandatory and collective could be implemented, where everyone who wants to visit the beach has to participate in cleaning up the trash in the sea. In summary, this beach provides a troubling glimpse into our future.

While it may not be the finest beach on the island, it is still quite pleasant. You have the option to relax on the sandy right side or choose the quieter rocky left side. The constant blowing of whistles by the lifeguards can be a bit bothersome. I suggest visiting during off-peak hours to fully appreciate this beach.
