The municipalities of Playa d'Aro and Calonge have allowed dogs to come to this small cove, without measuring the consequences of it... This beautiful beach has become a nightmare, dogs are let loose, they bark, run everywhere in small groups with very lax supervision from the owners. They defecate everywhere. This place is becoming very unsanitary because in addition to dog droppings, the access is invaded by the rubbish of the hotel above which maintains its garbage containers very badly.

This beach is a peaceful and beautiful spot with a few sandy beaches, a restaurant, and a couple of bars. Parking costs 1.50 euros per hour, but you can park for free in the residential area just a 10-minute walk away.

Cala Montgo

Beautiful, with bright blue water and lots of fish to see - it's really a nice spot. The surrounding area is also impressive. Unfortunately, the paid parking spots fill up quickly, and while there are free parking lots on the street, accessing them can be a bit of a hassle. Fortunately, the beach is easy to access, making it an ideal destination for a day trip.

Paya de Aro

A great spot for a day in the sun! There's plenty of room to spread out and plenty of activity, making it a great place for snorkeling. You'll be able to spot a variety of aquatic life when you take a dip. The sand and water are also kept clean, and there are plenty of eateries nearby. If you're feeling adventurous, take a short walk to the downtown area, which is close by.

This quaint little town is a delightful place to spend a day in the sun. Sitting on the terrace, taking in the warmth of the day, was truly a pleasure. However, the beach here was a bit strange. It felt artificial, likely due to the lack of waves. It was more like a small pond than a beach.
