Ao Khao Kwai Beach

This beach offers a unique experience with two distinct halves. The northern half, also known as the Hippy Bar half, boasts uninterrupted swimming opportunities at any time of the day. However, the resorts in this area do slightly detract from the natural beauty of the beach. On the other hand, the southern half of the beach appears almost deserted, with beautiful and simple rooms set back from the shore. The only downside is that the tide recedes quite far, limiting swimming opportunities to high tide. Visitors are faced with a tough decision when choosing which half to explore, but both offer their own charm and allure.

Koh Chang Beach

We have been visiting Koh Chang for 15 years. Although we have never stayed at this particular place, we are quite familiar with it and its owner, as well as many of the recurring visitors who come here every year. Give it a shot and see for yourself.

This secluded beach is accessible only by foot through a jungle trail. However, during my visit, I noticed an unfortunate amount of litter scattered throughout the area. As a result, I would not recommend going through the trouble to reach this beach.

Kwangpeep Beach

This beach is simply wonderful - it's small and private, with crystal-clear green water that's perfect for relaxing in. The best spot to unwind is under the shade of the nearby trees.

Ao Kai Tao Beach

This is a small bay in Ranong Islands National Park, situated on the west side of Koh Chang. In the evening, you can enjoy a stunning sunset. The beach has a lovely tent site, as well as bathrooms and running water. The staff are attentive and maintain the facilities well. Guests are responsible for their own meals and must inform officials about their sleeping tents and equipment. To arrange transportation, contact park officials to book a charter boat.
