We were really excited about our well-deserved family vacation at this resort, but unfortunately, we had to unexpectedly go back to Bangkok to take care of a sick relative. We had hoped that they would understand our situation and show some compassion by refunding a portion of the 400 euros we had paid. However, that didn't happen. Instead, they were incredibly rude and inflexible, offering us only a credit note which we explained we couldn't utilize. We have traveled extensively, but we have never encountered such appalling service. If you are thinking about staying at Mira Montra, I strongly recommend considering other options.
This serene and tranquil beach is a hidden gem, accessible by motorbike but the dirt road can be quite elusive. For an adventurous experience, I suggest taking a leisurely stroll through the enchanting woods to reach this picturesque destination. Along the way, you will come across a stunning tree that is truly awe-inspiring. Although the beach may have been slightly affected by a recent storm, it still exudes a natural beauty that is simply breathtaking.
The beach is truly beautiful. However, it's important to be cautious of sea urchins during low tide since the water is quite shallow (I spotted three of them). Fortunately, we didn't encounter any sand flies when we visited on February 20th. Although seaweed does wash up on the shore, it isn't always cleaned up in certain areas. Additionally, there are some places where litter is left unattended, which can be quite frustrating considering the beach's beauty and potential.
The Viewpoint offers a pleasant view. It's not a long journey, but it's worth it if you have a few hours to spare on the island.
