This beach is definitely one of my favorites. It has a lot of charm and offers stunning views. When we went, the tide was high even though high tide was still a few hours away. Nevertheless, we had a great time climbing on the rocks and bodyboarding. Just be cautious because the rocks can be quite slippery! The parking is limited, so it's best to arrive early.
We parked at Rock Road car park and were delighted to find a great sandy beach, perfect for kids as the waters were calm and ideal for dog walking. We also had the option of walking to Daymar Bay or taking the ferry across to Padstow.
This stunning beach is a surfer's paradise, boasting excellent waves for riding. Conveniently located atop a cliff, there is ample parking available for visitors. The pathway leading down to the beach is easily accessible and provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. Visitors are reminded to pay for parking before leaving, either by card or cash.
This area is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend taking a walk with your dogs or going for a solo stroll. It's definitely worth a visit when you're in Padstow with friends and family, but it's best to go when the weather is good.
What a gem of a cove! The beach is absolutely stunning, it seems to go on forever. The cherry on top? It's so secluded and peaceful, the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We were lucky enough to snag a free visit since the hut was closed, but even if we had to pay the £3, it would have been worth every penny. The walk down to the beach was a breeze and once we got there, we were transported to a state of pure bliss. It's almost like we stumbled upon our own little slice of paradise.
