This place is absolutely stunning. We were pleasantly surprised to discover such a picturesque beach in England. It's definitely worth a visit. Additionally, there is a nearby cafe and a large car park available for £6 all day, with free access for National Trust members.

Mothecombe Beach

What a magnificent day we had at Mothecombe beach! As many have mentioned, there is a parking fee of £5 to park in the nearby field, but there is ample space available. The walk from the car park to the beach takes roughly 5-10 minutes and is a bit steep, but there are no steps to navigate. It's worth noting that there are no facilities on the beach itself, so it's advisable to stop at the School House near the car park or bring your own supplies. However, the sandy beach is simply delightful when the tide is out, and the shallow water is perfect for children to enjoy their first proper swim in the sea. We also saw many people paddleboarding, which added to the already great atmosphere of the beach. While it wasn't overly crowded, there was a pleasant buzz of activity.

Wembury beach

We went to Wembury on a windy day and took a walk along the coastal path to see the Great Mewstone before heading back along the beach. We used our national trust membership for parking. It's a fantastic coastal spot with toilet facilities. Unfortunately, the cafe was closed for the winter when we visited on a Thursday.

Inner Hope beach

We recently stayed at the hotel for three nights and it was absolutely delightful. Our room balcony offered a stunning view of the cove, and we were equally treated to breathtaking views from the restaurant. The staff provided exceptional service, being incredibly attentive. Each night, we were pleasantly surprised with a unique menu, and every meal we enjoyed was truly outstanding.

Wyscombe beach

While it may not be considered one of the world's most magnificent beaches, this particular stretch of shoreline is often peaceful and perfect for those of us with furry companions. It's a lovely spot for swimming, and if you're feeling adventurous, there are plenty of opportunities for cliff diving or taking a plunge into the refreshing, deep water below.
