Sandwich Bay - all beaches

The beach was absolutely amazing! Despite the windy weather, I decided to visit and was greeted by massive waves that were truly invigorating. The sight of numerous surfers riding the waves was a sight to behold. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

This particular beach in England is renowned for its pristine and inviting sand, making it a top contender for the best beaches in the area. Its soft grains and picturesque scenery make it an ideal destination for beach-goers seeking a serene and tranquil environment.

The pebble beach is absolutely delightful and perfect for a leisurely stroll. However, the waves are a bit too intense and the water is quite deep, which makes it less than ideal for swimming. Therefore, I would recommend exploring the beach on foot and enjoying the stunning scenery instead of taking a dip in the water.

To the left of Broadstairs' main beach lies a delightful and serene beach. It is an ideal spot for dog walking and is protected from the elements by the chalk cliff tops. The beach is particularly stunning during the early morning and evening hours.

When visiting this beach, it's important to keep track of the tide schedule as the majority of the sand is submerged during high tide. However, the promenade remains accessible during this time, and visitors can still make their way to Dumpton Sands if they time it right. The walk back from Dumpton through the park is particularly enjoyable. Keep in mind that this is a popular spot for dog owners, so if you're not a fan of furry friends running free, you may want to consider another beach. Restrooms and refreshments are only available at Dumpton.

This beach is an incredible spot to enjoy the British summer sun. When we visited, there was plenty of parking available. It was the perfect outing for my family, including our two toddlers, dog, husband, and myself. We all enjoyed soaking up the sun and meeting the friendly locals who didn't seem to mind our overly friendly dog. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great day out, and there are toilet facilities available on site.
