This beach is exactly what children dream of. It's definitely worth a detour if you're heading north or south, especially since the main parking lot is only a 30-second stroll from the sandy shores. It's an ideal spot for a family vacation or a quick getaway.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed at the Dunstan Hill campsite, which allowed us to enjoy a lovely 20-minute walk to the beach. We spent some time there and then continued our walk, passing by Dunstanburgh castle and admiring the bay until we reached Craster, which was about 2.5 miles away. The beach was perfect for our dog, but we had to keep it on a leash when we passed the castle and walked to Craster due to the presence of sheep and cattle.

This beach was absolutely delightful! The sand was incredibly soft and velvety, making it the perfect place to lounge and soak up the sun. One of the best things about this beach was that it wasn't too crowded, so you could really relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, getting into the sea was a breeze - the water was easily accessible and so refreshing. Overall, this was a truly wonderful beach experience.
