Baker Beach

This beach is renowned as the birthplace of the original burning man and offers a breathtaking view. Despite my admiration for this beach, the parking situation is quite limited. However, the real issue lies with the porta potties, which are not well-maintained and emit an unpleasant odor within 10 feet of them. It is imperative that they are cleaned on a daily basis to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.

Ocean Beach

I had my first encounter with the ocean and it was truly an exhilarating experience. The beach was pristine and the sand was noticeably cleaner than the usual beaches of Lake Tahoe that I am accustomed to. The scenic beauty of the beach was simply breathtaking. Moreover, the beach was conveniently located within walking distance of multiple bus stops which made commuting a breeze. I even managed to collect a rock and a sand dollar, the latter of which I had never seen before. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were closed and the wash stations were turned off, leaving me puzzled as to why. Despite this, my time at the beach was a fun and unforgettable experience.

Ocean Beach III

This beach is really nice and spotless. The best part is that you can have a bonfire on the beach. It can get crowded, but you can always find a spot. I've been there several times with my friends, mostly at night, and it's always been safe. The water is quite chilly, so swimming might not be an option. Additionally, it's usually quite windy, so make sure to bring a light jacket.

Rockaway Beach

The beach is absolutely stunning, with a lovely little hike to both the south and north side cliffs that provide breathtaking views. The sand is a darker shade, but still beautiful nonetheless. The sunset is a must-see, as the area is simply stunning during that time of day. For those looking for a dining experience, Nick's restaurant offers ocean view seating, live music, and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights.

Funston Beach

We had an absolutely amazing experience exploring this beach area. We decided to take a spontaneous walk towards Fort Funston, and unexpectedly found ourselves on a stunning, secluded trail. The scenery was truly majestic and breathtaking. We feel incredibly fortunate to have stumbled upon this hidden gem!

China Beach

Upon my initial visit to the beach, I was taken aback by the picturesque view of the bridge. Despite the beach's diminutive size, it was still a delightful sight to behold and pleasantly unpopulated.
