This beachside campground is absolutely amazing! You have the convenience of pitching your tent or parking your car or RV right by the beach. The stunning Clearwater river, which meets the incredibly blue ocean, is just a few steps away from your campsite. The campground operates on a first-come, first-serve self-registration basis, with an overnight fee of $35. Due to its popularity, it can become crowded early in the morning, so it's important to arrive prepared and be ready to secure your spot. If you need anything, there are several small stores and gas stations just a short drive up the road. Additionally, the redwoods are conveniently located nearby. I can't emphasize enough how breathtaking this place is! Needless to say, I will definitely be returning for another visit.

Wow! The water at this beach is absolutely stunning, even clearer than Carmel. Although the area near the waves can be a bit harsh on your feet due to the presence of numerous big and small sharp rocks, it doesn't take away from the overall amazing experience. Additionally, there are plenty of gorgeous arches to admire, and surprisingly, there aren't many people around.
