El Matador Beach

What a stunning beach! As I arrived, the sun had just set, and the sky was painted with beautiful hues. Though the tide was coming in, and the waves were close to the rock wall, I enjoyed a lovely walk along the shore. The rock formations make for a picturesque backdrop, attracting many photographers capturing shots of people. The parking lot offers ample space for vehicles, and there are even port-a-potties for convenience. This is a fantastic location for a photo shoot, and I highly recommend it!

The hike along the beach trail is a brief yet breathtaking experience that offers a stunning vista of the vast and majestic Pacific ocean. The entire loop spans a mere mile, with the trail running parallel to the sandy shore. Embark on this short but sweet journey to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the coastline.

Zuma Beach

This beach is truly a gem of Southern California, with its breathtaking sunsets, picturesque mountainous scenery, and ideal surfing conditions. However, the only downside to this paradise is the overwhelming crowds and the challenge of finding parking. Nevertheless, it is no surprise that this beach is considered one of the top destinations in California. Zuma Beach holds a special place in my heart that will never be forgotten.

Malibu Lagoon Beach
10 SEANATHON

This beach is ideal for swimming and paddle boarding, with its calm waters, particularly near Malibu pier. There are two parking lots nearby, one at PCH and Cross Creek Rd, and another right next to the Adamson museum house heading towards Malibu Pier. From the Cross Creek entrance parking lot, it's a pleasant walk to reach the lagoon, passing by the Amrikha Pilgrimage Point of Refuge on the way to the beach.

Escondido Beach

What a lovely little strip of sand and sea! The only downside is the parking situation, which is quite the conundrum. A fellow in a fancy uniform suggested I leave my car on the PCH, and foolishly I obliged, only to receive a not-so-lovely $58 fine. Alas, I cannot say for certain if there is a better option for parking, but despite this minor setback, my furry companions and I had a delightful time frolicking in the waves.

Corral State Beach

This beach is conveniently situated just off the highway 1, offering ample parking options along the way. Although the breeze was a tad strong during my visit, the overall experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
