Drake beach

This beach offers a picturesque drive through lush green hills and pastures, leading to sandy cliffs that overlook a beach filled with elephant seals and giant banana slugs. It's a must-visit for those who love exploring and sightseeing.

Goat Rock Beach

The rock formations at this beach are really impressive and can be seen from the parking lot. To get to the large parking lot near the huge boulder (Goat Rock), you'll need to drive through a short one-lane stretch of road. There's a small bathroom located across from Goat Rock. I suggest visiting on a less windy day as the strong ocean breeze and sandy air can be quite challenging to deal with on windy days.

Doran Beach

This seaside destination is truly exceptional, and welcomes furry companions as long as they are kept on a leash. There are plenty of spots to enjoy a delightful picnic, complete with comfortable benches to relax on. The restrooms are conveniently located, and the distance between the parking lot and picnic area is just right.

Limantour Beach

Yesterday, when we arrived at the beach, it was a foggy day, just like many other days in the Bay Area during the summer. Despite the fog, it was still a great beach and dog-friendly, although dogs should be kept on a leash.

McClures Beach
10 Jace Rivers

This is a lovely little beach located in the Pierce Ranch section of Point Reyes National Seashore. To get there, you'll need to take a short hike through a canyon from the parking lot, but there is a bathroom available for your convenience.

Kelham Beach
10 Marco Garcia

This beach is perfect for those who prefer secluded spots. Even during peak season in July, the crowds are minimal, with no more than 10 people around.
