What a delightful discovery! Our intention was to witness the sunset, and we were fortunate to stumble upon this peaceful location. The absence of crowds made it all the more serene, and the early evening was simply stunning. To our amazement, we were able to witness both the sunset and moonrise simultaneously, a rare occurrence indeed. Notably, this beach is conveniently located near downtown Carpinteria. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned the following day, at the same time, and indulged in a delightful picnic.

What could be more delightful than frolicking on the beach? Santa Barbara beach offers a picturesque setting with tall palm trees and all the amenities for a delightful day in the sun. The beach boasts a well-maintained playground for children and volleyball courts for adults. Additionally, visitors will find clean restrooms and water spigots to rinse off sand. During our visit, we were delighted to discover a yoga class taking place on the beach - a perfect way to connect with nature and get some exercise in. As part of our San Diego road trip from the SF Bay area, we decided to explore some filming locations of the popular comedy series Psych on Amazon Prime. Santa Barbara beach was one of the spots we chose to visit, and we were not disappointed. The parking lot is spacious, and payment is made at the meter. Overall, we highly recommend Santa Barbara beach to anyone in the area. It's the perfect destination for a day of fun and relaxation.

This beach is absolutely breathtaking, especially when the sun sets over the horizon. The area is quite secluded and far from any roads, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. While there are some dogs that roam freely around the beach, they only add to the charm of this serene location. I frequently visit this spot with my furry companions, and they absolutely adore it here!
