Garrapata Beach

The beach is stunning and conveniently located by the side of CA 1 for easy parking. However, there aren't many spots available and signs are scarce. After a half-mile walk, you'll reach the beach and valley of flowers, which are both lovely. The beach has some interesting rock formations and isn't too crowded, but the flower valley tends to be packed. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to catch a sunset.

The beach offers of gorgeous fine sand and is impeccably clean. The local community takes pride in keeping the area spotless and it shows. Every spot on the beach offers a stunning view and there are toilet facilities available for visitors. It's also dog-friendly with plenty of paths for walking.

Carmel River Beach

We spent two fantastic days at this beach with our little ones. The descent is a breeze thanks to the stairs, and the beach is conveniently close to the parking area. The tide pools are teeming with fascinating marine creatures, making for hours of exploration. There was an artist painting on both days, and I managed to snap some truly stunning photos. All in all, it's a wonderful spot.

Seal Rock Beach

This charming little beach is a hidden gem. The parking lot can accommodate up to 5-6 vehicles, making it a great spot for a quiet day by the water. For those looking for a bit more adventure, the nearby Brid Rock Vista Point offers stunning views and a larger parking area. Plus, there are restroom facilities available for added convenience. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This stunning beach is absolutely delightful! I adore spending my time here, as the sand is pure white and consists of small, fine grains. It's an ideal location for a relaxing picnic with friends and family. Children can have a blast playing on the rock formation and wooden structures scattered about the beach.

Fanshell Beach

This charming beach is a gem. My family and I relished a couple of hours basking in the sun. The sand is pristine and the avian life is entertaining. However, be prepared for the occasional seaweed and the absence of restroom facilities. Despite the minor drawbacks, this beach is definitely worth revisiting.
