McClures Beach

This is a lovely little beach located in the Pierce Ranch section of Point Reyes National Seashore. To get there, you'll need to take a short hike through a canyon from the parking lot, but there is a bathroom available for your convenience.

Bolinas Beach

Bolinas, CA is a charming and intriguing small town that can be a bit difficult to locate, but once you arrive, you'll feel like you've entered a completely different world. The town has a unique blend of a hippie vibe and an old-fashioned small town atmosphere, and the locals are incredibly friendly. The beach is exceptionally clean and surprisingly warm, and the town is filled with art shops and various art displays throughout. Bolinas is especially fascinating due to its location on the San Andreas fault and its proximity to Japan. It's located across from Stinson Beach and is the perfect destination for those seeking a relaxing, artistic, and chic town to explore.

Pinnacle beach

This beach is a hidden gem, with a leisurely 20-minute stroll from the nearest parking spot. Unfortunately, the path is not stroller-friendly. However, once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view and a peaceful atmosphere, as the beach is not overcrowded. However, be prepared for some gusty winds and chilly water temperatures. I highly recommend bringing along anything that can shield you from the wind. Public restrooms are available nearby, making it convenient for visitors. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for those seeking a serene and picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Red Rock Beach

This small beach located just north of Stinson Beach is absolutely lovely. To access it, you can park in the large dirt lot on the west side of the road, which is conveniently situated across from a natural spring flowing out of the cliff on the east side of the road. As you head south from Stinson Beach, be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk, but don't worry, the trail down to the beach is pleasant and not too challenging. Do keep in mind that you'll need to climb back up afterwards. The beach itself is quite small and offers a sense of privacy, especially when visited during low tide. It's worth mentioning that the cliffs near the beach are popular among rock climbers.

Drakes Beach

This beach is definitely one of the best I've been to. When we arrived on a Monday morning around 11 am, there was not a single soul in sight. We had the whole place to ourselves for a solid 30 minutes or so. The water felt incredibly clean and refreshing against our feet. What caught my attention the most was the picturesque appearance of this beach. The cliffs and pristine golden sand were a sight to behold, and it wasn't windy enough for the sand to be blowing all over the place. It was quite photogenic. Right in front of the parking area, there is a small pond where several ducks can be found. The restrooms are conveniently located inside the visitor center.

Rockaway Beach

The beach is absolutely stunning, with a lovely little hike to both the south and north side cliffs that provide breathtaking views. The sand is a darker shade, but still beautiful nonetheless. The sunset is a must-see, as the area is simply stunning during that time of day. For those looking for a dining experience, Nick's restaurant offers ocean view seating, live music, and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights.
