Mondos Beach

This beach is perfect for beginners who want to surf. It is also a great place for families to enjoy. However, it can become extremely crowded, especially during peak hours and breaks like spring, summer, and winter break. Finding parking can be a challenge during these times. Although there are no trash cans available, there are two portable bathrooms. Accessing the beach can be a bit tricky as you need to walk down the rocks. The easiest way down is either next to the portable stall or to the far left, near the houses. Sometimes, the tide can get too high, leaving no beach area, but there are also times when it gets very low, allowing you to walk along the beach behind the houses.

This beach holds a special place in our family's heart. We're happy to see that people from all over the world can come and enjoy it too. It's been featured in many movies and TV shows. The beach has a lot of history for us, with my Grandfather owning a trailer park here in the 50s and my Dad growing up here. The feeling of pride and joy we get when we visit is indescribable. Sycamore Beach will always be dear to us.

The park is absolutely breathtaking. It's definitely worth visiting, but unfortunately, the beach is covered in tar. I came across a review mentioning this issue, but I decided to give it a try anyway. However, I ended up getting tar on my leg after kneeling on the sand. I would highly recommend visiting the park, but I suggest finding a different beach to enjoy.

This beach is always my go-to spot whenever I visit Cali! I absolutely love spending time here with my Bestie and my grandson, and afterwards, we like to walk over to the Marina for some delicious ice cream. It's such a serene and tranquil beach, and I've never seen it overly crowded.

You can go crabbing on the trestle bridge. The beach is spacious with fine sand, clear water, and big waves. It's a lovely beach. We purchased a local spider crab for $20 and it was delicious! 😋
