Lawnhill Terrace - all beaches

This beach is quite small and suitable for families, as it offers a peaceful atmosphere. However, it is worth noting that the beach has a rocky shoreline and the sand is covered in shells, making it uncomfortable to walk on without water shoes. I would not suggest visiting this beach due to the limited walking space available, which can be disappointing after paying the parking fee to enter. It is unfortunate that many of the beaches in Connecticut that welcome non-residents either have high parking fees or are closed on Mondays, which seems unreasonable. Therefore, the options for beachgoers are quite limited.

This shoreline evokes memories of my cherished childhood beach; it's a frequent destination for my family and me. Despite the abundance of jagged rocks that can cause cuts, the beach is usually bustling with activity. The splash pad is a highlight, but caution must be exercised as it can be quite slippery. The park facilities are top-notch and the beach itself is quite lovely. However, the restrooms have an unpleasant odor.

The view is fantastic, but the food could use some enhancements.

This beach is an exceptional spot to witness the breathtaking sunset and indulge in some fishing. The beach is well-maintained and conveniently accessible for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, it is a perfect location to cherish the mesmerizing sunset view.

This beach is an incredible destination for everyone, whether you're looking to party, take a leisurely stroll, read a book, or simply relax. It's also pet-friendly, which is a big plus. I particularly enjoy the pleasant scent in the air.

We have been putting on shows at this beach for many years. The beautiful surroundings, the excellent staff, and the delicious food are all of the highest quality!
